BIOGRAFIA

Rubick es un grupo de rock británico. La formación surge en el año 2008, y tras grabar un primer EP ‘Blinding the City’ consiguen tocar y ganarse un nombre dentro del circuito español, actuando en salas de renombre como Wah Wah, Moby Dick, Costello y un largo etcétera. Gracias a este primer trabajo, han aparecido en diferentes medios nacionales como Mondosonoro, TVE… e incluso internacionales, en la revista londinense ‘’ The Guestlist Network’’. Además este año han actuado como teloneros en el festival Arenal Sound que incluía en su cartel a grupos de renombre como The Cramberries, Simple Minds o Lori Meyers.

Hacemos rock británico, y nuestras influencias son Kasabian, Jet, Stereophonics, Status Quo, Black Keys, Oasis, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Beatles, Rolling stones...

Hemos participado en concursos nacionales como el de Myspace y San Miguel Unique's para telonear a Franz Ferdinand quedando entre los 4 finalistas por delante de 900 grupos.

De 130 grupos que se presentaron para el MTV Winter aquí en Valencia quedamos segundos tan solo por detrás de un grupo, para tocar en el MTV Winter que se celebró en la explanada de la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias de Valencia y que fue emitido por la cadena MTV.

Finalistas en el Hard Rock Rising de Mallorca, para telonear a Bruce Springsteen en Londes, hasta donde nos desplazamos para la ronda final. Volvimos a ser invitados de nuevo el pasado día 19 de abril para realizar otro concierto en el Hard Rock Cafe de Mallorca.

Hemos ganado el concurso a nivel nacional que recientemente organizaron conjuntamente Conguitos, EMI y 40 Principales tras proclamarnos vencedores de la Comunidad Valencia y finalmente salir proclamados vencedores del concurso en la final nacional celebrada en Madrid concursando contra grupos de toda España. Esto nos ha permitido grabar con el productor inglés Nigel Walker que ha realizado proyectos junto a Los Beatles, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Fito, Los Rodriguez, El Canto del Loco, La Oreja de Van Gogh o Pereza entre otros. Se masterizó en los estudios the Exchange de Londres con el ingeniero de mastering Mike Marsh (Kasabian , Oasis, Two door cinema club).

Hemos tocado en el BBK LIVE de Bilbao, en el festival Arenal Sound de Burriana y en el festival VdeValarés de la Coruña.
